I'm finally thinking about going for it, can't deal with daily lenses anymore. But I'm scared and want to make sure I do my research before picking the right place. So I'm looking for personal recommendations please!

I had lasik in 2008, best thing I ever did, my only regret is not having it done sooner, if you can afford it, do it OP.

Optimax performed my surgery.

Well, it could be said that having LASIK is dependable on your age. When you are 40 or above, I don't think LASIK might be a good option. Due to the accommodative system becoming what? Wearing out, I guess. You might need bifocals then. An exception then is, monovision correction with LASIK but that is advised only if your prescription is stable. I feel like LASIK is preferred to much younger people. Because, you know, you'd get more years out of your investment long before the near changes happen. But, this doesn't mean that LASIK is completely avoidable in your middle or old age. Recently, someone I know, referred this place to me, if someone's considering having LASIK surgery.

I am also thinking about this. Does anyone know if there is a technology difference between Optical Express iDesign and Optimax Intralase Wavefront. Optimax is £3.6k v Optical Express £5.6k and it’s so hard to decide. Also, do optical express ever reduce the price after the consultation?
