Overactive bladder - Solifenacin Succinate

I’ve recently been prescribed this for an overactive bladder.
Has anyone got any experience of taking this please?
The list of side effects freaked me out a bit to be honest (I have health anxiety) so I’m wondering if it’s worth the risk?
Maybe I’d be better off putting up with my current symptoms (which are mainly needing to pee a lot and particularly at night which makes me very tired the following day).
I know all medication has side effects and not everyone gets them, I’m just looking for any experiences?

I thought I’d reply to this. I’ve been on this medication for 2 years. I didn’t get any side effects apart from constipation. The drug has been suspected to attribute to dementia but there’s not much evidence to go on yet.

My dh has just been put on this too. I'm wondering how long before it started to work. He really hasn't been able to leave the house since symptoms started 2 weeks ago. It hurts too much as he constantly feels like he is bursting for the loo.

I think if you read the possible side effects of any meds you would think twice about taking it

I've been on solifenical for a couple of years now & it's been brilliant
