Anyone else tired all the time?

Even when I get a solid 8 hours sleep I still wake up shattered. Sleep inertia takes an hour to wear off. I eat well, take supplements tailored to me (aka specifically due to vegetarian diet and history of Iron deficiency). I'm just always shattered. I really want to not be tired anymore. Any ideas on how I can wake myself up?

Do you get outside every day and make time to exercise?

Not as much as I should but I do go for a brisk walk for 30-60 mins every day (very hilly area) and the last week have started doing 2 or 3 home workouts in the evenings. I do need to lose about 2.5 stone.

You could try going to the doctors for a blood test.

I feel tired constantly too though. 38 with two young kids (one with SEN)

Perhaps speak to dr in case you have a deficiency? Thyroid issues? It’s not nice being continuously exhausted as you feel you never ‘catch up’ I’d avoid doing too much exercise if it’s not benefiting you, I find if I do less and prioritise rest I feel much better then build up again or it’s just a vicious cycle. You do learn what suits you and how to manage rest but I have no thyroid and despite replacement drugs I do still feel rubbish, I’m overdue a blood test though.

def worth ruling things out and making some changes, hope you feel better soon
