Shingles rash

i had shingles about 3 weeks ago, felt pretty rubbish with it. Was prescribed antivirals, rash cleared up, felt fine, rash came back, felt crap, took more antivirals and rash went away again after about 3 days. Still on the antivirals and the rash has come back again and I’m starting to feel rubbish again. Why, why WHY won’t it go away and leave me to feel myself again. Is it normal to obviously not fully clear up and keep flaring up? So fed up of it.

When it goes on one place it moves on to another. Is that what happens with you as well?

So, I had it on my right back, then it came up on my right chest, neck and face. It then started on the left face, left shoulder and arm, and my right arm.

It is a real pain and I just want to be rid of it. It feels like it is there lurking ready to strike all the time and it makes me feel anxious and stressed.

Also I feel the doctors think it is just in one area not moving around like this. They told me one course of antivirals is enough for ten days and I felt daft asking for more.
