Have been doing a 20min walk to work x3 times a week, am eating healthy etc but would like to do more exercise that helps the inches to shift - have Billy Blanks Taebo DVD which has a quick high impact 10min work out...would doing this for exercise on the days I'm not walking to work make a big difference or??

Not a fitness instructor but I can thoroughly recommend Body Pump classes. They have really help me change my shape and tone up following weight loss. Check whether your local Gym runs classes - 55 mins long. I go 2-3 times per week , really good fun, high energy and it works!

My DH is a personal trainer and he gets people who want to change shape to do weights. You won't bulk up I promise - do a weight high enough on each machine that you can do no more than 15 reps before wanting to rest. Then go on to next machines and do the circuit 3 times (or you could do three sets on each machine before moving)

Also you probably need more cardio than three 20 min walks a week. Obvs, that's better than nothing, but you should aim to be out of breath or breaking a sweat for about 30 minutes, 4-5 times a week to start seeing differences. Try incorporating some jogging for justa few minutes in your walks, and do it more often. At the weekend you cold all go out for a family walk or bike ride for an hour or two which everyone will benefit from.
