Looking for some advice on how to deal with what feels like constant illnesses at home. 2 year old in nursery which obviously doesn't help as he's bringing a lot home but before covid I'd worked in healthcare for 10 years and back then we never wore masks so had a fantastic immune system after about 6 months of constant colds and then after that was never unwell, but lately it's been close to 6 months of constant virus's, infections, stomach bugs etc and I'm at my wits end with it!

Is anyone else the same or can anyone advise on the best things to take to boost our immune system?!

Vitamin D. About 20,000iui a week. You can do it all in one dose. After 6 weeks, tail it off to 10,000iui a week.

Zinc. Take the full RDA and if you are ill double it for 3 days
Vitamin C. Take a fizzy drink tablet thingy every morning

If you want to give these to the dc, you can but much much lower doses..

Then there is general health support which includes iron, general B vits, magnesium and calcium.

but this is just what I do, there are lots of other opinions and if you have any health conditions you might need to avoid or add supplements

I don’t have any advice but I’m in exactly the same position. 18 month old in nursery and I’m a nurse. ALWAYS ill in some way at the moment and it’s awful. I keep telling myself it will get better…
