I’ve never had this before so am interested to hear if my symptoms (particularly swelling below the eye) match with anyone whose has sinus impaction/blockage.
Constant pain between cheek and nose started suddenly, no cough/cold before or during. Immense pressure in cheek and upper jaw bone. Numbness type feeling in teeth/gums below cheek. More sore to lean forwards or back so unable to sleep in the bed, have been sitting up on sofa lots of nights. Paracetamol, ibuprofen no help. Started antibiotics, no change. Now started to get swelling under my eye each morning which goes down a bit over the day. Still no runny nose/cough/cold at all just constant cheek pain! It’s horrible. Been 10 days so far and no improvement.
have been to dentist-nothing going on with teeth at all.
is this sinus impaction? Did you find anything that helped?
I had major facial surgery many years ago and have two titanium plates in the upper jaw bone so am nervous if this infection is not settling that it could spread.
