hello i am new on here and dont really like talking about any problems but i need some help please :)
ADHD run in my family as my 2 brothers have it. i have a daughter she is 7 coming on 8 and i have noticed her behaviour has changed since about the age of about 2. anyways she has some signs that she may have ADHD but i need to no how can i get her refured as the school think she is fine and she is one of the best kids in her class but when we are out and at home and other peoples home she changes, her symptoms are. Exsessive talking to the point i have to tell her to stop and speak more slowly as i cant understand what she is saying, she can have violent out bursts and her temper is pretty high she kicks and slams my doors. she doesnt like it when she has a friend over and another friend joins in as she like to be just the 2 of them. she likes thinks in order (which was one of my brothers signs of ADHD) it takes her ages to go bed she goes up for 7 to watch her t.v and she is still awake come 11 it takes her ages to fall asleep. she eats and eats but still saying she is staving.
who can i turn to as the school wont refer her as they think she is fine but i no there is something there when she was under a health visitor she put it down to terible 2s and told me to get on with it.
