Long shot I know.

My sister wants to know.

TIA

Iota · 06/02/2008 20:08

reading the chart I would say she should be around 500

princessmel · 06/02/2008 20:11

OMG she's only 370 at best. She's had a persistant evening/night cough on and off for ages. I think she may have asthma.

Thanks for asking the question, Ive been doing a peak flow for the past week and only averaging 320 at 44 and 66" its not good.

princessmel · 06/02/2008 20:14

Hmm, I've just done it and I'm only 300 ish too. plus i'm 1 inch taller! I haven't had a cough

I may be over worrying as my son is bad with his asthma at the moment.

Or we're just rubbish with the blower machine thingy.

I have found this info - apparently a new scale was introduced in 2004 - see here
www.asthma.org.uk/news_media/news/new_peak_flow.html

I'm not sure what that chart relates to

princessmel · 06/02/2008 20:18

That looks like the one I have. She's going to go to the doctors to check it out.

more peak flow conversion info here

Iota · 06/02/2008 20:21

here's an interactive converter www.peakflow.com/top_nav/converter/index.html

Iota · 06/02/2008 20:22

I have the old black and white version

Iota · 06/02/2008 20:25

the first chart I linked to hasn't been updated since 2003, so I presume that it is the old scale

discoverlife · 06/02/2008 20:37

adobe chart

princessmel · 06/02/2008 21:29

Thanks guys

She's very impressed with MN. She doesn't have children so doesn't come on here.
