Wtf is going on with my toe?

My middle toe around the nail, started looking a bit red yesterday, no itching, no pain. By last night it looks like this and hurt so much it stopped me sleeping (ibruprofen helped)

Infection of the cuticle maybe? It looks like it needs to drain and when it does it will relieve the pressure and feel better!

It needs draining and antibiotics.

Im a keen sporner, but sadly no pus, just red ouchiness. Will try to get in doctors tomorrow, no urgent care round here for miles. I get a bit worried because both my Gran and mum lost legs to gangrene which started with a toe infection.

Soak it in some HOT salt water
