Any idea what this is on the back of my neck?

Just wondering if anyone has had anything similar or any clues as to what this is on the back of my neck? My GP surgery is currently prioritising the elderly, children and clinically vulnerable for next two weeks due to resource pressures so hopefully I can get it looked at some point after that! Would be good to get an idea of what it may be 😊

Looks like a wart. Ask the pharmacist to look at it.

TitoMojito · 25/01/2023 15:33

Wart or possibly a lipoma? I get lumps on my hairline around my neck and ears too. But if you're concerned, get it checked when you can Smile

Could be a skin tag?

ohdizzy · 25/01/2023 15:38

Looks like a skin tag, my dm used to get them.

Beamur · 25/01/2023 15:45

Lipoma? Fatty lump under the skin. Soft to touch?

Looks like a mole or some such.

is it new?

Man, no way I'd be able to resist poking at that all the time. Does it catch on a brush?

Thanks all for the replies, I'll try and go to the pharmacist first and see if they can advise 😊

@gamerchick yep quite often catches, I try to work around it though. It's hard at the hairdressers when they drag the comb through your hair and scrape it 😥
