I think I might have depression. I am finding life very overwhelming right now. Just everything. I am finding it so hard to get into bed on time and then I am finding it so hard to get up too. Is that what depression is.

If you are going to bed late, then it stands to reason that you would be struggling to get up in the morning.
Are there any new stressors in your life that you are struggling with? Or are you finding it hard to cope with the things that you are normally ok with?
Depression is a lot more than sleep or feeling overwhelmed. It is also a lack of interest in the things you usually enjoy, maybe not taking care of yourself properly etc.
There are also physical reasons for feeling the above too such as vitamin deficiencies , thyroid disorders, even perimenopause. It is important to see your GP to rule physical things out, and make sure you get the right treatment.

You can take a self assessment here -

then go to the GP with your results. They will most likely do a similar assessment anyway.

Good luck, and I hope you get to the bottom of how you are feeling.
