Does anyone know how to tell the difference between a hatched and an unhatched egg? My dd has just become infested for the first time and with fine, blonde hair, it is quite easy to spot things. As well as the interminable combing etc, i try and pull out any hairs I see that have an egg attached - but am I just removing the empty ones?

unhatched eggs will be dark in colour and slightly shiny looking, hatched eggs will be pale
