In December I was referred urgently to orthopaedics due to severe back pain and sensation issues because I’ve had a spinal fusion for my scoliosis about 10 years ago and my GP suspected my implants might have shifted. I’ve had an X ray in December now this week I received an NHS letter with an orthopaedic phone consultation and wondering why is it only a phone call because I never had one of these and I’m not sure what can be done through the phones.
Anyone had one of these before or knows what type of appointment is this? I’m thinking hopefully my implants are fine then because it’s ‘only’ a phone call.
