Chicken pox here too! DS has had them for about a week now but new spots keep appearing! I got some aqueous cream with calamine lotion in it from the Chemist which has kept the itching under control. DS had a high temperature for about 4/5 days before the spots appeared and the minute the spots arrived his temperature returned to normal. Hope your DS recovers well.

My 3 have had/are having them.. I think we're reaching the end of it now though. Phew.

Ds doesn;t seem to have got any more spots, so now i am wondering if it is CP he does have quite a number of them on his belly though.

DS2 just going down with it tonight...I can't remember the rules. Are we supposed to be housebound or is it OK to go for a stroll into town, so long as DS doesn't breathe on anyone?

moaningminnie2020 · 06/02/2008 23:36

The virus is shed from any open spots, so I would stay away from people unless essential!
