Has anyone else had this? I am so weak and shaky, can't do anything and all I want is to go to bed. How long does it last?

Yeah, I’ve had it about 5 times.

Shortest time was about 3 1/2 weeks, longest about 5 months.

It will go.

I do hope so, fed up with it now.

How are you now, OP? I'm feeling exhausted after an illness nearly two weeks ago. Temperature still slightly elevated but not "fever" territory. Just enough to make me feel shattered. Hope you're greatly improved.

I've had it following on from Covid. Tested negative on Boxing Day but the fatigue and mental fog have persisted for weeks. I'm back at work on reduced hours and brain fog is mostly gone now, but still having fatigue and needing a rest in the middle of the day.

All you can do is pace yourself and take it gently, and celebrate and slight improvements. (Also don't do too much too soon)

Glad to hear you are improving, albeit slowly. I'm not sure if my original virus was covid or not - I didn't test because was off work and didn't go out anywhere - symptoms were flu like. I've had covid a few times and been fine. This was comparatively mild but the subsequent fatigue and general malaise is horrible.
