SVT and surgery

Hi

Has anyone had any type of surgery whilst also having an SVT diagnosis? So in my case it would be an abdominoplasty. Did you have to get clearance from your cardiologist? Or when you were scheduled for surgery did a cardiologist do check ups (because you were not under a consultant yet).

I’ve only recently been told that I may have SVT after a trip into a&e. I’ve had 4 pregnancies, two of which resulted in a miscarriage over the last 4 years but the episodes started when I was pregnant with my baby in 20/21, would continue for my pregnancy after that and would happen during breastfeeding. I was always told it was because I was pregnant, low iron, low b12, low vit d etc etc. there was always some other reason until my bloods came back fine.

i have been referred to a cardiologist and am still waiting to be seen. I’m on beta blockers at the moment. I have also been referred for muscle repair because physiotherapy hasn’t helped me bring my muscles back together (can fit both hands into my stomach) and the back pain is horrendous. It’s like my back is ripping apart.

Thank you!
