Hi. I have tinnitus since may 2022, aparently stress induced. I had a terrible spike in june and a bad summer, but then It Fade away and now is like a soft hiss. There are moments when Its even gone.

Thing is, Im thinking about having a baby. Im 35 and I have a 4 years old child, so I think maybe in a months/ a year...

But I am REALLY scared about how pregnancy may affect my tinnitus.

Any experiencies here????

I have had tinnitus for 27 years and there was no change while I was pregnant.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of your theory though. Perhaps contact the tinnitus charity to discuss with them.

It definitely gets worse for me during pregnancy and then I have to work quite hard with CBT techniques to reduce it afterwards.

Which caused your tinnitus? It spiked for long time? Sorry to hear that.
My first pregnancy was so good (I didnt have tinnitus back then) and Im scared of second one being hell.

I wish men could get pregnant, It would make everything easier :)
