Need help with blood test results

I had my blood test results back today and 2 have come back abnormal and 1 is borderline.

borderline is my liver function test result

abnormal is for sedimentation rate. Normal rage on the result is 0-12mm mine is 32mm. Also confused about the CRP protein test result
normal rage is showing as 0-5mg. Mine has come back as 11mg

does any one know what this means? Thank you

A higher sedimentation rate can indicated inflammation such as infection / auto immune conditions.

CRP higher is also an indicator for inflammation.

The liver boarderline test is pretty common and can happen if you have taken paracetamol or again inflammation. The liver can heal itself so it’s not a massive red flag.

Why did you have the blood test to begin with, for certain symptoms or routine?

Thank you @Flowersonthewall123 That is helpful. It says I need to speak to a doctor regarding the results but I am unsure if they will ring me or if I need to call up. I had them done because of certain bowel related symptoms

If it's helpful my crp was about 800 although I'm not qualified to say if a slightly elevated result is anything to be concerned about (I was diagnosed with colitis)

My crp and esr results are similar to yours, they've been around that for several months but we're unsure why, the GP said it can be infection or inflammatory though we're unsure with me as some of my liver enzymes are 10 times higher than the maximum range. I'm seeing a consultant next month on a similar matter so GP has asked them to consider this too.

I'd give the surgery a ring to make an appointment, that's what I do when I have abnormal results and they want to discuss.
