I’m looking for a meditation/mindfulness app (or podcasts?)
I sufffer with fibromyalgia as well as anxiety/depression. I would like something to help me unwind and cope. I like breathing exercises and visualisation.
I have downloaded headspace but I’m not sure I’m keen. Feels a bit like it’s lecturing me about my “progress” in an American accent and trying to teach me life lessons!
Anyone found anything they like?
TIA

I didn’t like headspace.

I use simple habits. There are quite a few free meditations you can use on there. I did subscribe so I could access many more but recently cancelled the subscription to save money so now back to managing on the free ones.

I love Headspace. Andy, who founded the company and leads many meditations is British. Have you tried their basics course?

I have found the Balance App really helpful with lots of resources and free for a whole year

I prefer Calm to Headspace.

I like Sleep Cove on Spotify and it’s free!

I tried the free trials of both Calm and Headspace and much prefer Calm. I've been subscribing for over a year now and I use it daily. I like that there are so many different people doing the speaking and there's lots of content

Mentor 360 is my favourite.
