Elderly mum (84) is due to see GP next week about stiffness, pain and sometimes swelling in both ankles. We suspect it’s arthritis. She hasn’t driven for 7 months due to surgery for another problem which she’s now recovered from but she is still hanging on to a belief that once her ankles are “sorted out” (her words) she will be able to drive again. If anyone has experience of similar scenario I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts on this.
