Cut that won't stop bleeding

I cut my finger right across the cuticle on a tin can 3 days ago and as soon as I take the plaster off it bleeds heavily.

Any ideas what else I can use to stop it bleeding?

Alcohol wipe, let dry, then hold it together and put a blob of superglue on it.

Steri strips and lave them on til they fall off?
Awkward place to deal with tho.
