Pain in vulva, is this another sign of peri?

I started my period the other day. Today I am experiencing an on and off pain in my vulva. I don't shave or wax so I doubt it's an ingrown hair. I am wondering if that's a sign of peri or what could it be. I drew a diagram to show the location of the on and off pain. It's actually a fairly sharp and heavy pinch that lasts for a few seconds at a time when it does happen.

No advice sorry, but following as I have recently started experiencing pain in my groin, down the left side of my pubic mound towards my thigh, thought it was an ingrowing hair at first too as it had that pinchy sore feel, but it’s a bit throbby and aching now! Am 41 so peri’s calling…
