Which is the best remineralising toothpaste? I use Sendodyne Pronamel Intensive repair but was wondering if there is anything better.
Have seen Regenerate Enamel Science Advanced Toothpaste and Spotlight Oral Care Toothpaste for Rebuilding Teeth

My partner was a dentist and he always said the ones claiming they rebuild teeth are a load of rubbish. All you need is one with fluoride - don't waste your money on the rest - you can't rebuild teeth without composite. When the adverts for sensodyne etc came on claiming 'Thats why Dentists use our products' he would say 'No dear its because you give us loads of freebies'. He got the Mo Farrah advertised Oral B electronic toothbrush when it was just out and costing £££££ for free!

Have you looked at nano-hydroxyapatite?

Is there a particular brand he would recommend? Any with more fluoride than others?

He just told me to buy the basic toothpaste so I get the 75ml tubes that are £1 or £1.50 x usually Maclean’s or aqua fresh or Colgate tbh x I didn’t buy toothpaste for years as he kept being given boxes of so many sample sizes that the patients would never have used them all so he gave them to me! X

There are so many toothpastes out there. If I used the ones that met my need, I would be using about 6 different ones daily.
Is there a toothpaste that is good for gum disease, whitening, mineral rebuilding, cavity protection etc etc?

Dentist here. Agree you can't remineralise teeth to any great extent. But I would look at duraphat toothpaste by Colgate as it's got a high fluoride content. It's prescription only though so you would need to ask your dentist for it

Thank you, I'll ask about that at my next check up
