Has anyone had a positive Faecal Calprotectin test? My results were 170 I’m really worried

I’m in a similar situation, my bloods including iron, b12 etc were all normal despite having mild anemia while pregnant. Iv had 3 children in less than 5 years and after my second born I suffered small piles. After my third who was born in may 2023 I had piles probably once every few months and this would normally be the only time I’d get spots of blood.
my fit test came back normal with no traces of blood however my calprotectin was elevated at 275 so fairly high. I’m due to do another calprotectin test this weekend to check the numbers and if they are still elevated will have a colonoscopy.
I don’t normally get diarrhoea unless I eat spicy food and normally get constipated either on iron tablets or after eating too much bread. I traveled to Egypt two weeks prior to my stool test (beginning of December)and did have a bit of a bad tummy after returning so I kept wondering if that was why?
I don’t know what to make of it. My bowels have never been the same since having children.
ill add that I also suffer bad health anxiety which I assume will not help :(

@Jadejack @Shelby1990x how are you both getting on? Did you get official diagnoses?

I am having the same problem. Digestive issues 4 months post partum and had a calprotectin level of 166. Fit was 7 so hoping bowel cancer is unlikely.

@Lifelifelife21 hey, yes so I ended up having a small bowel MRI which came back completely normal , showed all sorts of things and everything looked great. My second calprotectin test prior to this had dropped but not enough hence why they sent me for an MRI ( although they were not at all concerned)
I was diagnosed with IBS after everything else was ruled out .
your body can cause so many problems after having little ones and IBS is one of them unfortunately !
but definitely get checked over if your worried 😊
