CT scan results.... Waiting

DH had his CT results confirming cancer in 3 days.

Was it your GP who ordered the CT? Have you phoned the surgery to ask if the results are back? Ime if it’s a case of ‘no action required’ they don’t even contact you, just expect you to phone for results.

Sorry to hear that Seemingly and thank you for answering.
It was the consultant who ordered it. (I'm in the suspected cancer pathway).

I'm still waiting. It'll be 2 weeks this Thursday. Tried to call consultant's secretary but just goes to answerphone.

Usually with these no news is good news. But as the NHS is in such a mess results are taking longer. I would probably phone either your GP or your consultants secretary if you’ve not heard anything by tomorrow but I would definitely phone up on Thursday if you still haven’t been contacted.

That's what I was hoping January but it's taken so long to get here already I don't have much confidence. Going to try GP now.

I'm in that hopeless, stressful time of waiting on CT scan results. I think they said 1-2 weeks. It's been 9 days now and heard nothing. I've not been given a follow up appointment either. Scan was from neck to groin for my ongoing symptoms of weight loss, nausea and lavk of appetite.
Has anyone had CT and how long did results take?
I'm hoping that if serious, theyd have contacted me by now?

Ive been on that suspected cancer pathway a few times this year

Had bowel cancer ruled out - urgent colonoscopy & polyp removal

Had ovarian cancer ruled out with transvaginal scan

Had stomach checked- gastroscopy

Now a ct scan soon...abdomen

I have abnormal ca125

I’ve been waiting 28 days for results of ct scan which I was told it was requested to have done within 2 weeks ( it was done in 7 days ) two dif contrasts were given ( kidney lesions) still waiting for results heard zilch phoned up today to see if any results back no one answered the phone. Left message but still nothing. To be honest I can’t concentrate trying to keep positive.

You can ask your gp to chase

I had mris in oct and nov

Got diagnosed with a liver condition

Also have another colonoscopy this month
