Cough

DD has this flu virus and the coughing is horrendous. Has anyone found anything that helps as so far nothings working . She's coughing that hard she's being sick and can't breathe .

Just went through this with my daughter (6yo) and now my son (2yo) is going through it. Nothing helps that I’ve tried

Same here a teaspoon of honey takes the tickle of it. It's awful isn't it and helpless then exhausted through lack of sleep. Also lavender oil in the bath

Depending on her age I’d say a cough medicine with guifanesin, which I think you can take multiple times a day until it starts to loosen the cough. You may have tried that already though… It definitely helped me when I had flu,
