I've been given nitrofurantoin by out of hours earlier and took the first slow release capsule around 7pm. I'm having less pain in my bladder and less pain when weeing but I still have a high temperature of 38.5. Paracetamol is bringing it down but not quite to normal levels. I'm also having some back ache but possibly from tension and stress as I think it's too high up for kidneys, though I'm not 100% sure. Do I wait to see gp in morning or do I need something more urgent? I it's been a while since I had a uti this bad and I can't remember how long I had a temperature for previously so I'm panicking somewhat. I've had rotten couple of months with one illness after another and I'm starting to wonder if there's something else going on.
