Help!sticky left ear

Hello

Don’t know what’s going on with my left ear

For some time it seems inside my left ear has been sticking together and I have to pull it apart slightly sometimes to hear properly.

Once I push around the ear it closes up easily and starts opening up back slowly ( like it’s “unglueing “ itself). If I lay on that ear, I can hardly ear until it becomes open gradually again . Once a tiny drop of water goes in , it just closes up like I’ve poured in a whole glass of water until it opens up later

Anyone experienced this pls? When trying to search it seems Glue ear fits this but not sure it is as it’s also sticky at the entrance?

No pain or discharge now just a feeling of slight “fullness” inside

Thanks

It will probably be wax.
I can stick mine together when there’s a fair bit of wax in there.

You could try using olive oil to soften it and it may come out on its own or you could try sodium bicarbonate drops from the pharmacy to do it. If it doesn’t come out on it’s own you may need syringing.

Another vote for olive oil, resist the temptation to use cotton buds or anything else in your ear as you're just likely to push the wax further in.

Thank you

Will try the olive oil

I’m suffering with the same as you OP.

How often should you use the olive oil?
