This has appeared on my nearly 3yo toddler it started as 2 small patches which we put down to eczema or psoriasis however after trying various creams nothing is helping and today it appears to be spreading in various places only reason I am asking on here is the doctors offices are closed for new years She has no previous health conditions and hasn’t had issues with her skin either until now

Hi @Parent838482 , sorry to see that you didn’t get any replies to this. My toddler has got a very similar thing going on with his skin at the moment. Doctor says eczema and we do hydrocortisone and Epimax cream but as soon as we stop the hydrocortisone it comes back worse! Did you get to the bottom of what it was for your little one?

Looks very similar to my daughters eczema. Try to wash less with soap - no bubbles in the bath, and limit soap exposure. We also found liberal amounts of Aveeno baby soothing relief emollient cream really helped although it is pricy. She flares up now when we forget to apply it for too long but it keeps it at bay when we do remember.
