Steroid cream advice

I was prescribed steroid cream by the doctors as I've been getting bad eczema around my eyes. I was told not to use it for more than a week at a time when it flares up. I was also given an anti fungal cream to use daily and an emollient to apply at night. I'm quite new to the eczema club.

Does anyone know how long I need to leave it before I can use it again? I'm fed up of looking like I've spent too much time with a crack pipe and it's driving me mad.

For the record I am waiting on another appointment to review with the doctors but that's a few weeks away..hoping to get a dermatologist referral as it's not improving.

Thanks

Lifelong Eczema sufferer here. I have permanent scarring from using steroids on my face!
Use the moisturisers regularly, every time you feel inclined to scratch so no make up. Push for the dermatologist appointment, pay to go privately if you can. Get prescribed protopic which doesn’t scar and use as directed by the dermatologist. I use Aveeno cream on my face which you can buy from Boots/Tesco etc. Good luck, Eczema is miserable.
