Odd findings on scans

So far I have had-

Benign lipoma in the sigmoid colon

Hemangioma in the liver

Duplex kidney (like a double kidney on one side)

The only thing which has needed treatment so far was the lipoma, which twisted the bowel and required urgent surgery.

Just wondered what other odd things people had from scans

Ds hasn’t a brain mri and they found a benign cyst - no action needed!

I think it is good to know of these things even if they don't usually cause problems, just in case.

It was helpful to know of the lipoma in the bowel as when it twisted they knew what surgery to do as it was benign for example.

Hopefully unusual complications won't happen but you never know and it is good to be aware I guess.
