Lots of antidepressants can be taken while bf ing. Check with the pharmacist or GP and that goes for herbal ads eg St Johns Wort as well.

I've taken sertraline - 50mg and increased to 100mg, from DC2 & 3 being 10 days old, and bf them to 12 & 17 mo respectively. There is no harm done to them and they are bright happy little people.

Just wanted to add - I've been on dothiepin the entire time I've been bfing dd (20 mths) and she is fine.
