Just had a really bad ibs attack. Pain, cramps, wind. Knew I needed to get to the loo. Had v bad diarrhoea. But also can't stop shaking. Never had this before. And I felt a sick. Again, never had this with ibs before. Are shivers, shakes and nausea part of IBS

If diarrhoea then you could have lost water who joy that has made you shiver and shake but diarrhoea can do this ibs or not.
Nausea yes.
Also some of your symptoms sounds like they've fully crossed over into the actual reason.of anxiety.a trigger
Has something happened today?bad day?

Could it be a tummy bug?

This sometimes happens to me. Cold sweats, shivers and shakes after a bout of diarrhoea, often around my period. It is a vasovagal reflex and once I knew this it helped me deal with it, although I still get it. I just felt less concerned that I was ill for other reasons. Drinking plenty of water is a big help.

Shivers, shakes and nausea are a response to severe pain, so yes by default they're part of IBS.

I've had it like that, after a 3 hour marathon stuck on the toilet with my head in a bucket because the pain made my sick I've had to stagger to bed & roll myself in the duvet to get warm. Have you got any Buscopan? If you have take 2 & some simple pain relief, co-codamol would help with the pain & the diarrhoea, I also have peppermint oil capsules that are a miracle worker for trapped wind. Could you drink a peppermint tea if you have any, it would settle your stomach & warm you at the same time. I keep a tub in my bathroom cabinet with Buscopan, Peppermint Oil capsules & Co-codamol plus a hot water bottle, soft toilet roll, wipes barrier cream for a sore bum under the bathroom sink.

YES!! it is! it was somthing that happened to me all the time and it sucked. I would get nauseous and shakey. I feel like some of its low blood sugar from umm loosing everything you ate.

I was diagnosed with ibs by my GP but ended up In hospital very unwell. It turned out it was diverticulitis which had been mistaken for ibs. Please be cautious & if you don't feel right seek medical help.
