Found big lump in breast this morning

i found a big lump in breast this morning
while having a bath this morning.
God I am so worried.

I've actually done this twice now

• once hitting a key in the door when trying to get stuff out of the hall cupboard
• whacking my breast with the corner of my laptop getting up from the sofa

Sorry that this has ruined your day. I hope all will turn out OK, it is almost a certainty that it will.

Be kind to yourself today and see your GP as soon as you can. I had a number of masses too and they were completely benign cysts, drained on the day and never returned. 😘

I'm going through the same thing with dd who is in her 20s. Waiting for a hospital app. Found the lump last sun.

Only me and her know. I'm trying not to think about it.

It's prob nothing and if it is, then we will just have to deal with it.

I found one last week, now on the referral list to the breast clinic which should be within three weeks. I have a one year old, she is my world, I feel sick. Hope you get good news!

The GP put me on the referral list today.
I have a teen and an 8 year old.
I was so shocked when I felt it in the bath !
Good luck patiently, most lumps turn out to be harmless.

@ADealingMummy the waiting is awful, hope you get an appointment soon, mine is on Jan 13th. It’s also now itchy. My gut tells me this isn’t going to be the news I want.

agreed . The waiting is awful.
I’ve received a text to say they will call once an appointment becomes available.
i shall be walking around with my phone at work tomorrow in case it rings.

@ADealingMummy I've just found this thread while searching for posts on lumps.
I've found a small lump on my chest, it's like between my breasts but a little higher so more the centre of my chest (not on a breast)
Pea sized and feels firm, doesn't move. I've felt it a while ago and assumed it was a spot. But it's still there , and I don't know how long it's been. I never really clicked that it's a lump and maybe I should get it checked. It's small so I'm still thinking I'd probably be wasting gp time

Let your GP tell you you're wasting her time - don't assume it. Always get checked out.

ADealingMummy how did you get on? Were you seen quickly? Hope all is ok.

I saw the doctor today I’ve found a lump too. She has referred me and says I should hear from them within 2 weeks…
