Keyhole Surgery - For Bunions

I am thinking of doing this as my bunions have got bigger over the years. I am in no pain at all - however I would like to get them corrected as I really dislike this part of my body.

I want to get my right foot done first as it is the worse of the two and if that all goes well I will get the left foot done.

I have never had any surgery like this before and I am scared.

Has anyone had this done?

How did you find the whole experience?

If you're not in pain I would leave it tbh. I had surgery on one if mine about 10 years ago due to pain. Not keyhole though.

They have to break your bone. I couldn't drive for 8 weeks and had to take all that time off work. I still have numbness from the op and pain in the cold or if I exercise a lot. Cured my issues but If you're not in pain now you might end up worse off!

@imnotthatkindofmum yes you could be right but I think they may get worse as I get older. Has anyone else had any experiences of keyhole surgery in particular?
