I have been ill for over a week with what at first felt like a bad cold with yellow snot, sinus pressure, scratchy throat but not massively sore, tiredness, chills and mild fever. I could function (doing the bare minimum) with the help of paracetamol. Then yesterday my temp went through the roof (don't know what it was but it was high) and I started to feel a lot worse. Sinus pressure/headache is bad, particularly on left side, but not as much yellow snot now. I'm now absolutely floored and can't do anything really. Paracetamol just takes the edge off. Heart rate and temp increase as soon as paracetamol wears off. I also keep getting waves of awful nausea and have barely eaten anything yesterday or today.
My daughter also had a temp the other night but she now has typical cough/cold symptoms that don't match mine particularly.
Why is it getting worse and not better? It's been 9 days since it started and 2 days of feeling awful. Feel like the last 6 weeks I've been constantly ill, literally only days between some illness or other :(
