My legs have been aching for a week and I feel generally unwell. Had a few sneezes, mild sore throat, but of a sore ear, but by far the worst thing is the fatigue and muscle aches.

Had this a couple of weeks ago - shivery, muscle aches, nausea, fatigue. No cold ot respiratory symptoms. Went away in 48 hours. Weird!

Same! Felt like I’d been run over by a steamroller for about 2 days. Everything hurt, even my hair. Very odd.

These were the first symptoms we had when we caught covid earlier this year.

Covid is a possibility. The numbers have shot up again but LFTs are expensive so people don’t buy them plus they aren’t picking up the virus until a few days in. If that.

Yes, ended up trying oramorph the pain was that bad (after moving up the pain ladder properly) and then ended up in hospital with pneumonia ...

My legs and hips (more on right side) have been aching since Saturday. Tuesday I came down with DDs viral stomach bug and then Thursday a cold. And leg still really aching. So definitely a think at the moment.

I have covid at the moment and I’m getting these, and I was the same last time I had covid. It was actually my first symptom, what prompted me to test myself this time as it was so familiar from last time. It doesn’t last long though. Hope you feel better soon

walnutmarzipan · 23/12/2022 08:49

Thanks everyone. Sounds silly but good to hear I'm not alone! I've not tested for covid as we have no LFTs and like a pp said, they're expensive. Not going anywhere anyway.
Just feel very weak.

It's probably influenza A.

We're seeing tonnes of it at the moment - all patients with severe muscle aches, sore throats, dry cough, ear discomfort, etc.
