I wonder if a CROS hearing aid would work?

Hi, I work in this area
It might, but not always
Cros aid may be a better option, and is available on nhs, won't help with telling where sounds are coming from, but will help pick up sounds from your AN side :)

Thanks so much for replying both of you. @Kitten2022 how do I even go about getting an appointment to see if I'm eligible for croc hearing aid?

If you're under ent or audiology call and ask them to discuss hearing aid options :)
They may suggest trialing a 'normal' hearing aid first
