Saturday night I woke up in bed with the most horrendous stomach pain. No temp, no D&V, just pain. Couldn't get comfortable at all, went to sleep on the couch and eventually went back to sleep around 4am. Stomach was still sore the next day but not as bad, and felt tired. Then Sunday afternoon the pain came again, like someone gripping me from the inside. So I went up to bed early and managed to sleep all night. Same again Monday and yesterday. No temp, I've been sick twice since Sunday, eating plain food but not managing anything past lunchtime due to the pain. Have been going up to bed around 6pm and staying there all night.
DH is a medic, he has checked me over and ruled out appendicitis, bowel blockage etc. I feel fine in myself until the pain starts mid afternoon. I've been taking pain relief, wind relief, and something for stomach cramps.
What is this? It's not like any bug I've ever had, but if it's something making the rounds I'll be OK knowing it should pass.
