Antibiotics again!

I'm having the worst time with antibiotics this week,
I'm taking calvepen 666 its penicillin 4 times a day for 5 days for tonsillitis,
All today and tonight I've been awake with what feels like really bad hunger pains in my stomach or acid inside, never experienced this before with antibiotics its waking me from my sleep
Anyone else had this before?

I had terrible stomach cramps from antibiotics, I ended up in bed, then gave up on them and got something different.
Are you taking them with food ?

It says to take them on an empty stomach,
It's awful, couldn't sleep all night
Tonsillitis does seem a bit better

I’d try taking them with food, see if that helps.

Can you get some probiotics? Antibiotics are no joke for the digestive system. I got a 1 a day probiotic specifically for when you’re on antibiotics.

antibiotics kill bacteria- so they interfere with your healthy gut bacteria as well as your pathogenic infectious bacteria- healthy gut bacteria will recover!telling you that doesn't change anything for you, but understanding whats happening to you can sometimes help you feel a bit better about it

That does sound reassuring, I can kind of understand why there is pain now, I will try and get a prebiotic to help aswel, and I need to eat a bit more I think during the day, I've tried some yoghurt with my dose this morning see if that helps aswel,
I'm just so depressed with all this going on, every day seems to be a different problem!
