Hi there

For weeks now, I am constantly ill. I get areally bad cold and then a few days without and then it's back! It's actually unbelievable. I had really bad chest pains yesterday and woke up today full of the cold, yet again. I have started taking vitamins but in the meantime, I really need these symptoms to go. I'm a single mum to a toddler and I feel absolutely terrible. I'm freezing!!

Anybody have any remedies that will make my nose stop running so I can breathe?! Ill try anything.

Thanks so much

Is your house warm enough? I v rarely get colds but had one that didn't go away for ages. We were staying in temp accommodation while our house had the builders in. We changed to a different place as the first one was freezing and the minute I got warmer, the cold disappeared. May have been coincidence but it didn't feel like it!

Sinutab are the only thing I've found that actually does dry up a runny nose. I find they help with cold symptoms not just sinus

It sounds like a bit more than a cold. Can you get an appointment with your GP?

In the meantime garlic pills and vitamin C will help. Jakemans throat and chest lozenges are good, and Olbas oil helps a blocked nose if you inhale it. Lemsip stops the cold but I think it only masks the symptoms. Paracetamol brings your temperature down.
Drink plenty of clear fluids.
