Is this something to see a GP about?

I have developed a small growth at the back of my mouth. It's the size of a small pea just next to my tonsil. It is not sore or inflamed at all, it's just there. I noticed it because it feels like I have something stuck at the back of my mouth. It's been there for a number of months now. Is it something I need to have looked at or just see how it goes and just disappears?

Thanks

Definitely, anything unusual that shouldn't be there should always be checked out.
