Olbas Oil before 3 months

I got some children's Olbas oil yesterday and read that it could be used from 3 months onwards. Does anyone know why it can't be used before that age?

Most likely because they don't want to go through testing etc on babies younger than that, to get it approved. They try to only test VERY NECCESSARY medicines on very young babies, not sure olbas oil would count?

Plus very young unwell babies should be treated after some kind of medical advice rather than parents diagnosing and treating themselves, to make sure it is a minor condition only, to be on the safe side.

IMHO a GP would probably say it was ok to use on a tissue near the cot

I think it is more than that. I think it can dirupt their breathing pattern. I was surprised by teh same statement nd researched it at the time.

But my googling isn't working iwth an intocicated brain.
