Constantly ill

Has anyone else been constantly ill for the past month? I seem to get 1 or 2 days where I feel okay and then I catch something else. I think this is my 3rd or 4th cold/illness in as many weeks :( feel like I'm constantly sniffing or bunged up, chills, dodgy stomach, knackered. I can't wait for it to stop being so ridiculously cold. I'm sure it's not helping. It has been a stressful month too so that's probably got something to do with it as well.

Yep, it’s rubbish isn’t it ? Hope you feel better soon. I had covid on 13 November, got over it was ok a week or so then started with a cold/cough/sinus and weird face, jaw and tooth pain which then exacerbated asthma and have been off work again. I have been taking vitamin D and metatone tonic just to see if it helps; like you fed up with being poorly.

@Jackster22 that's what I have, weird face/sinus/tooth pain and sniffly. Bit of war ache too. I actually booked a dentist appointment for tomorrow as I was convinced it was my tooth but I have a temperature now so guessing it's viral.

Yep, I’ve had a cold/virus since 14th November. Every few days there’s a new symptom.

Yes, I had the flu thing which turned into a chest infection , then a couple of days of feeling fine, and now a sore throat for a week and a half which isn’t bad enough to be a problem, but it’s slowly getting worse and the back of my tongue is now sore.
I’m fed up of it.

Since September. I have a good week, if that, in between being ill. My children have been the same. Maybe I forget during summer what winter is like (with all the flus and colds).

CreatingHavoc · 15/12/2022 20:30

@pastapestoparmesan this is exactly how I feel. Started with sinus type thing about a month ago, 3 weeks ago I was hit with a sudden fever and then gastro issues that wiped me out for a while, then a cold on and off for the past two weeks or so and now I have a fever again with sinus pressure, ear pain and tooth pain. I'm getting really fed up of it now. This winter seems to have been worse than usual for viruses etc. I have 2 dc in primary school who've been rough too and there's so many off, it's mad. But I guess it's a post covid thing. Our immune systems are taking a battering.

Yesssss! Literally could have written this myself. (Plus am currently 21 weeks pregnant and only had a week without morning sickness before it all started!)

Feels never-ending. Let's all hope we feel better for next week :)

Yes, had various bugs over the last month or so. Mix of symptoms on and off. Done a ton of covid tests and it's not been that (we have it in school and I'm vulnerable hence checking.)

Was feeling better over the weekend. Now laid up in bed with a chest infection and a course of antibiotics. The coughing is making my chest and back so painful, my throat now feels raw from it. My chest is so tight and I'm breathless when I move. And my temperature keeps yo-yo ing up and down. Missing my last two days of work and all the fun Christmas bits at my school and just feel sorry for myself! Done a full day of ABs now so hoping they will help.

Jackster22 · 15/12/2022 21:05

@CreatingHavoc I was thinking of phoning dentist too but then it swapped sides so I thought it must be sinuses, my ears feel woolly, I think jaw hurts and face from all the coughing. Tooth ache bounces around not one specific tooth. I hope you’re better soon, if the dentist does an X-ray though they can see if your sinuses are bad.

Hope everyone else gets better soon.

Floradix without iron (vitamin B complex). Vitamin D (2,000iu), zinc, ascorbic acid 1,000mg (specific vitamin C).

Belt and braces, don't rely on a multivitamin as the individual doses are poor. Get these as separate items and take them for a month. These are all the things you need for your immunity to be tip top. It really works and the B group will give you vigour.
