2 weeks until I have telephone appt about my CT head scan. Should I be worried about it?

So I had kind of migranes in the past few months. Mostly caused problem with my vision so I've been sent for a head CT. My appt came very early, maybe 2 or 3 weeks later than the referral was sent. I had the scan last week, and today the GP practice phoned me, I had to make a telephone appt with the doctor however this appt is on the 28th. If it's a telephone consulation that's most likely means there's nothing bad going on isn't it? Or if it would they probably would tell me earlier? Any experiences would help, I'm a bit scared...😭😭

I’d be really surprised if they waited 2 weeks to give you bad news over the phone. More likely it’s normal and they want to discuss next steps to manage your symptoms.

I echo PP above. With a CT scan if there was anything more sinister I doubt they would leave it that long x

Third the above. Despite the headlines, our experience in recent months has been that when urgent intervention has been needed, we’ve had it.

Fwiw, when I’ve needed biopsies, I’ve been called in within a couple of days.

Just agreeing with the above.

DH had news about cancer 2 days after his CT scan. They wouldn’t wait weeks for something serious.
