Can adults get strep A?

Sure I'm overreacting, but I've woken today to itch a sore throat, headache and rash on my arm

The sensible part tells me it's probably a cold (or covid, work Xmas do last week) BUT the irrational part is saying I've got strep a!

Anyone can be infected with Streptococcus A.
Try not to worry. Most people do not have a serious illness with it.
