Hi there, about two months ago I noticed my wisdom teeth on the lower had started growing through, recently the last two days the gum and cheek has become very saw and inflamed I don't have toothache or anything like that but the tooth is cutting my cheek when I bite down and can feel quite unpleasant, I'm a super anxious person and I know realistically that if there causing pain or bite problems they will most likely be taken out but I'm such a nervous person that I really worry about this and making me worried to go get it checked out, I just wondered with partial eruptions do you always have to get put under GA, as that's my main fear, I have never been under GA before so would be a really big worry for me.any advice😞

I’ve got 2 lower impacted wisdom teeth, which have been causing me a few issues, including biting my cheeks. I should be having them both removed under GA at the end of the month. I’ve had 5 GA’s in my lifetime, the most recent being in the summer. Honestly, if you ever have to have them removed, please don’t worry about that, you’d be fine! ☺️ I’m more worried about how much pain I’m going to be in and how difficult it’s going to be to eat (I have anxiety about developing dry socket). I would go and see your dentist and see what they say about the issues you’re having, it may not be as bad as you think!
