My little boys 3 he's been unwell for a few days now I took him to the doctor the night before last and he basically said keep an eye on him he should feel better in a week or so with calpol often. I've been monitoring him today and all the poor baby wants to do is sleep he had 12 hours last night and hasn't managed he stay awake for longer than 30 minutes a time today, he's drinking not eating, has an awful cough and a temperature is this concerning or expected behaviour?

Is his temperature controlled by medicine? How high is the temp?
He's still drinking - that's a good thing. Food doesn't matter so much when poorly, we wouldn't necessarily eat food when poorly. As long as he's having wet nappies/weeing and drinking still, that's a good sign.
Sleep is the best thing for them when they're poorly.
Though if you feel he is really lethargic, hard to wake up, you can always call 111 for advice if you're worried.
What's he doing when he's awake? Playing or nothing? X
