Deafness (including ear pictures)

I have just picked DD (18) up from university and the poor girl is really deaf, she did tell me she was struggling to hear but I did t realise how bad it was until today.
DD has recently had both an ear and chest infection for which she stopped the antibiotics a couple of weeks ago.
Is the deafness likely to pass? I have included some pictures of her ears and wondered if they still show an infection.

Not an expert - but the first picture looks a bit like glue ear to me - which could explain her deafness. If she's not in pain, could you try to get an ear appt after the weekend?

Caveat - I'm sure some with more experience will give you a more informed opinion.
